Overview
Through a continuum of prevention and intervention services, YMCA Safe Place Services offers "Free 24-hour help for teens." Each year YSPS serves approximately 1,000 teens and their families who are in crisis situations. Our goal is to prevent costly state and court placements of youth by offering them the support and early intervention needed to keep their families whole.

Life Guard

YMCA Safe Place Services is the only agency in the Louisville area where youth can access professional help services without an adult referral. In Jefferson, Oldham and Bullitt Counties, 399 Safe Place sites and 244 TARC buses serve as neighborhood front doors to our service.
