History/Overview
Programs at the Campbell County YMCA initiated in 1965. The building opened in 1966 with the following additions and renovations:
- 1979 - outdoor pools
- 1980 - racquetball courts
- 1992 - front lobby and meeting room
- 1997 - Fitness Center renovation
- 2002 - new gymnasium
Programs
Youth Sports, Fitness/Wellness, Camp, Aquatics, Child Care, gymnastics, senior activities, swim team, dance, and enrichment classes. Additionally, the Campbell County YMCA now offers a new course in Tri-yoga.
